The Surrey School District is a registered Canadian charity. Through the Business Development Department, the District seeks out donations of funds, services and goods and the development of community partnerships that supports its goals and vision.

Built in 2001, the Bell Performing Arts Centre is owned and operated by the Surrey School District No. 36. This state of the art facility is the largest professional theatre in the Fraser Valley.

The over-arching goal of the Building Professional Capacity portfolio is to create opportunities for teachers, vice principals, principals, directors, managers, (really anyone in a formal or informal leadership role) to develop their leadership capacity.

The Capital Project Office team is comprised of multiple professionals who oversee the planning, design and construction of new schools, additions, seismic upgrades and building envelope projects

The Communications Services department is responsible for overseeing a wide range of internal and external communications activities that support and facilitate the Surrey School District’s vision for learning.

Corporate Services manages the life cycle, repair and replacement of essential district equipment, including setting specifications, repair, replacement, redeployment of equipment and asset disposal.

The Electronic Student Information Systems (ESIS) Department works closely together with schools and district departments to manage their student information and focus on improving student learning. We work very closely with and support the use of MyEdBC as well as data analytics tools.

Coordinates the usage of district facilities and grounds when they are used outside of instructional time for both internal district use and external community use.

Our Aboriginal Enhancement Education Agreement (AEEA) guides our services. The AEEA outlines partners responsible for implementing the vision and goals.

The Information Management Services (IMS) department manages the district's information and communication technology needs. We work with schools and district sites to ensure they have the information, technology, and related services they need to achieve their goals.
